4 Quick Ways to Boost Engagement on Your Facebook Page

1. Provide Value

People love tips and helpful information. Give them useful nuggets and timely information relating to your page and coaching. If you share third-party articles, provide your own insights and thoughts on the them to further personalize and cater to your audience.

2. Be Responsive

Always answer fan posts and private messages in a timely manner. Use Facebook’s monitoring tools to alert you to new comments and messages to make this easier. Personal touches are also helpful when responding.

3. Use Media

You know the old saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words”? Statistics show that posts with images and short videos tend to get more engagement on Facebook. Take advantage of albums and descriptions to further optimize (and organize) your media when you post.

4. Post at “Best Times”

Use Facebook’s “Insights” tool to discover when your audience is online and when they are most engaged during the weekday or weekend. Best posting times vary by page and industry. We still recommend spreading out your posts so you’re not posting everything you have only on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm Eastern Time, for example – but take advantage of the data and statistics to get the highest visibility for your most important posts.
